Dr. William Hanna, Ph.D.
William L Hanna, Ph.D. is a Psychology Assistant who has worked in the Columbus and Dayton areas for three years. Dr. Hanna has previously worked in the criminal justice field and is familiar with concerns of PTSD, critical incident situations, and working with families whom are employed in the military and criminal justice fields.
Dr. Hanna provides individual and group counseling and psychotherapy, offers parent behavior management skills and parent training, and conducts psychological assessments for cognitive functioning (e.g., IQ tests), depression, anxiety substance abuse, and other problems. He also works with adolescent issues, depression, anxiety, grief and bereavement, and can help parents determine if their child’s behavior is a “phase” or a more serious concern, and help develop social skills for children.
Dr. Hanna is also an adjunct instructor with Columbus State Community College and has taught college courses at a variety of colleges over the past 11 years. Dr. Hanna has taught courses primarily in criminal justice and psychology.
